Murphys Glen Camping - Blue Mountains National Park.
Access: Campsite is accessible by unsealed roads usually fine for 2wd vehicle in the dry, (i went in the rain and made it fine) but may not be passable after rain, there is a sign before you enter the dirt road saying if its open or closed. From Woodford, drive along Bedford Road (from Railway Parade). A 4WD may be required in wet weather. Steep and bumping at the beginning once past the gate dirt road is pritty good for 2 wd drive for 4km, once at the bottom theres a sign with upper camping head up there and setup camp, theres a steep bit just before the camp site 2wd will just scrape so be carefull. General Information:
No caravans or camper trailers, This is a nice and secluded camping ground in a forest of tall trees. A short walk through the rainforest will takes you down to Bedford Creek. Camping ground is just dirt, theres not much glassy areas. Theres big tall gum trees that shelter the area.
Toilets Pit or composting toilets are available.
